well, after driving from san diego to san francisco to portland to spokane to helena to the badlands to st. paul over the last week, i'm happy to say that as of today i am now an official chicago resident. : ) made some progress on the urban ed front in san diego, but i think i've got my work really cut out for me here in chicago! looking forward to it though. i'm curious to hear more about your musical inclinations and suggestions for local bands i should check out.

exactly the reason I had never ever dated a musician prior to seth and seth was only considered since his band actually lives on the East Coast so there isn't any freakin' last minute band emergencies. BOO!
Here's how I handled my dating multiples: wanna meet? ok, this date, this time and at a bar near my house (without telling them that's where I lived) so that if it sucked I could easily leave and never see the dude again. It was DT that suggested you don't meet a blind date at a place you really like or go to a lot because if it sucks you don't want to have them hanging out in your favorite place (a la Turf Club) - sage advice. I don't frequent bars just for hanging out so that wasn't a real problem.
don't expect much and you won't be as disappointed but I do strongly suggest just taking the reigns and make them sign up or sign out.
Good luck. I miss chicago but NOT the cold weather.
